Description

 

The LML Stealth Mach 1 Hybrid is a specialized, stock appearing, direct replacement for your 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra equipped with the 6.6L LML Duramax diesel engine. Specifically engineered for turbo class limited Sled Pullers and compound turbo applications due to its unique configuration. This turbo features the internals of Calibrated Power's most powerful (67mm) Mach 2 turbo, but utilizes a smaller 63mm Air grabber compressor wheel. This combination helps create the most optimized primary compound turbo offering on the market. This turbo is a great option for those limited to a 64mm compressor wheel due to competition regulations and who want to make the most out of their top-end performance.

While upgrades found in the Mach V such as HFV (High Flow Vane technology) & the extra-large turbine wheel are not ideal for low end power or spool up, the improvement in flow that they offer can directly result in an increase in top-end performance. This increase in flow is also ideal for passing as much of the additional exhaust gas energy as possible through to the turbine of a secondary atmosphere charger in a compound (twin) turbo setup. Further helping to increase compound turbo setup efficiency and performance, this increased exhaust side flow from upgrades such as the HFV, upgraded turbine wheel, and ported exhaust housing can significantly help in managing EGTs while under load.

The unique advantage provided by this turbo's design cannot be understated. The Stealth 64 Hybrid was born directly from insights gained from DuramaxTuner’s performance calibration experience with the LML Duramax platform and how it responds to tuning adjustments, changes in airflow, and increased power was a crucial component in building the perfect primary compound turbo.
