DESCRIPTION
The Banks Power 19288 Ram-Air Black-Ops Rear Differential Cover that will add eye-candy to the rear of your GM 2500HD/3500HD or Ram 2500/3500. This cover features air scoops that force high-velocity air into heat radiation fins to overcome the "dead air zone” behind differential. This results in greater heat dissipation over flat-back diff covers in the same working conditions. This cover utilizes internal guides to direct the gear lube to bearings without overfilling as this cover mounts flush with differential housing for improved fluid flow. This smooth transmission reduces fluid aeration for longer lube life while the inner cooling fi ns transfer heat through the cover into the outer fins.

This Banks Power Ram-Air Diff Cover is manufactured using aircraft grade diecast A380 aluminum for unbeatable strength. Utilizing a silicone O-ring seal, this cover has a high-pressure seal that does not require the use of RTV. A 20-degree angled magnetic fill plug makes filling this cover a breeze, and the recessed magnetic drain plug will grab any ferrous debris. This cover includes 304 stainless-steel hex mounting bolts for installation and an 1/8” NPT sensor port that allows you to install a temperature probe. The sight-glass has a contrast screen that allows you to easily check the fluid level and fluid quality. This cover does not sacrifice ground clearance and doesn't hit the Pan hard ba or spare tire heat shield. The air scoops are designed to break-away if caught on an obstacle.
